6pm - 7:30pm Computer Class: Gmail Basics
Where: Watson Branch Library
Description: This class is taught using Gmail and is for people
with little or no experience using email. Topics include sending
and receiving emails (including attachments), adding contacts
to your address book, organizing your email, and an overview
of viruses, phishing and spam. Prior Knowledge/Skills Needed:
Basic keyboard and mouse skills and basic knowledge of using
the Internet. Class Requirements: To take this class you must
have a Gmail account and know your user-name and password. If
you do not have an email account we ask that you open a free
Gmail account prior to class. You may set one up yourself online
at: http://mail.google.com/mail/signup OR come by and ask a
staff member about helping you set one up. Classes are free
and open to the public. There are six computers available per
class which are assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
It is recommended that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior
to the beginning of class. Classes last approximately one and
a half hours and are repeated throughout the year with alternating
daytime and evening availability. (New class schedules are released
the 20th of each month.) For more information please call the

10am - 11am Chocolate Storytime
Where: Watson Branch Library
Description: Pre-K Storytime gives children an excellent introduction
to the library, increases their attention spans, and develops
their social skills by involving them in stories, poetry, and
songs. We hope Pre-K Storytime will be an enjoyable experience
for each child, leading to a lifelong love of books and reading!
Each Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m., join Mrs. Annie and Mrs.
Gwen for stories, songs, crafts, and more! Please remember parents
must supervise children 11 and under in the library at all times.

9am - 12pm Public Meeting: Watson Quilters
Where: Watson Branch Library
Description: The Watson Quilters is a local group that meets
the second and fourth Saturday every month in the meeting room
of the Watson Branch Library, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. This group
is open to the public. Members may attend some or all meetings.
